1. Policy Statement

NSB-Global Enterprise Limited are committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our subcontractors, as well as minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. This policy is in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and other relevant UK health and safety legislation.

2. Responsibilities

Management is responsible for implementing our health and safety policy and ensuring it is communicated and understood. Subcontractors must comply with all health and safety requirements established by NSB-Global Enterprise Ltd and are expected to cooperate with management in all matters relating to health and safety.

3. Health and Safety Risks

Assessment of health and safety risks is a part of every project undertaken by NSB-Global Enterprise Ltd. Subcontractors are required to participate in these assessments and must ensure they do not undertake work for which they are not competent or adequately equipped.

4. Training

All subcontractors will receive appropriate training, and must demonstrate their understanding of, and competence in, the specific health and safety issues relevant to their work. Ongoing training will be provided based on the assessment of needs as dictated by evolving industry standards and legislative changes.

5. Accident and Emergency Procedures

Subcontractors must report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses, regardless of severity, to NSB-Global Enterprise Ltd management as soon as possible. All subcontractors are required to familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures for each site on which they work.

6. Equipment and Safety Gear

Subcontractors are responsible for using the safety equipment provided and maintaining it in good working order. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as prescribed for each task.

7. Monitoring

Compliance with this policy will be regularly monitored and reviewed to ensure that standards are maintained and improved. Subcontractors who fail to comply with health and safety requirements may face disciplinary actions, up to and including termination of contracts.

8. Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or in response to changes in legislation, significant incidents, or changes in company procedures.
