1. Policy Statement

NSB-Global Enterprise Limited acknowledges the importance of combatting slavery and human trafficking and commits to ensuring transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains. Our company believes that we have a responsibility to promote ethical and lawful employment practices. These practices are respected within our own business and also encouraged within those we do business with.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, directors, officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, agents, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives, and business partners, irrespective of their geographic location.

3. Responsibility for the Policy

The board of directors has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it. The implementation and monitoring of this policy will be the responsibility of our Compliance Team, who will review its effectiveness and recommend improvements.

4. Compliance

The company will:

  • Assess potential risk areas in our business and supply chains.

  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring.

  • Monitor potential risk areas in our business and supply chains regularly.

  • Protect whistleblowers.

5. Due Diligence

The company undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers and regularly reviews its existing suppliers. Our due diligence includes:

  • Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier.

  • Conducting supplier audits or assessments, which have a greater degree of focus on slavery and human trafficking where general risks are identified.

  • Taking steps to improve substandard suppliers' practices, including providing advice to suppliers and requiring them to implement action plans.

6. Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.

7. Breaches of This Policy

Any employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct. We may terminate our relationship with other individuals and organisations working on our behalf if they breach this policy.
